SIMPLY AMAZING!!!! Takes my back to them days at Grandma's, waking up to cheesy grits and omelettes. They know what they doing in that kitchen [?][?]

This was the best eggs Benedict I've had in Arkansas. Velvety, delicious house made hollandaise!! I'm ready to go back again!!

Garden Omelette
Have you ever known of a restaurant that has been in business for over 44 years? Can you think of an eatery where the menu has been augmented but essentially stayed the same through that time? Is there a quaint cafe that you enjoyed as a teen, 20 something, 30 something, 40 something, and now as a 50 something that tastes just like you remember from the very first time? Aside from Waffle House (any of the over 2,000 locations will know what I mean when I say "scattered, smothered, covered and diced") that place is Delicious Temptations for me! Delicious Temptations is located in Little Rock and is open from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm every day. It has always been that way and another thing that hasn't changed is you can count on waiting for a table, at least on the weekends. They did double their seating capacity in 2024 so the wait is not as long, but it is still a possibility. Because I have a history with DT that gives me fond memories of my experiences there (remember from the maiden blog, food and fellowship go together). There is something comforting about walking into a restaurant and remembering...Katie is probably going to get the Avocado Sunshine, Zeb hasn't met a Patty Melt she doesn't like...and don't forget the Lemon Square for dessert! DT is a wonderful place to have meaningful conversations or laugh until your sides hurt, all the while enjoying really good food! I want to focus on breakfast today, specifically the omelette. The DT breakfast menu includes pancakes, waffles, french toast, breakfast platters, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, 8 different benedicts, a plethora of sides, and...omelettes. My favorite omelette is the Garden Omelette. It comes with 3 large eggs, spinach, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. Now, I do substitute the mozzarella cheese with cheddar cheese...to me the cheddar has a lot more flavor than the mozzarella. By the way...it's ok to ask if the chef can make substitutions...99% of the time they will oblige. You never know if you don't ask. The Garden Omelette comes with a croissant and strawberry butter but I usually ask for toast or a biscuit but keep the strawberry butter...duh! I also order a side of CRISP bacon (some of the best bacon on the planet)! Do you see a pattern here...ordering what I want. Just call me Sally...IYKYK. My friend Traci, with whom I have spent many breakfasts/brunches...really many meals...food is kinda our thing, turned me onto the cinnamon coffee at DT. It is so smooth and rich I don't even need sweetener! I hope you will give Delicious Temptations a try! Order what I have suggested or pick something else...rest assured whatever you order will be, well, delicious!

Nest Egg
The nest egg is my favorite of all the breakfast items. Huge portion, and very filling. Fresh ingredients and enough leftover for dinner or breakfast the next day!

It was delicious and the new remodel is so cute! Love the atmosphere!
